The Solar Power Project

When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world.

Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”  John 8:12

Solar power is targeted to improve the life quality of the impoverished island. At present, the government only provides six hours of electricity, and the charges are high. Residents need to endure hot weather and mosquitoes. Food will turn rancid quickly because they cannot be stored in fridges all the time.  Besides, island schools only operate half a day to prevent hot afternoons.

The family that we choose to install the solar pilot project is a Christian, and so far the only one on the island.  The panels will absorb solar energy and provide electricity to light bulbs, fans, computers, audios, washing machines, and refrigerators. We expect the missionary and her team to be welcomed into this family and use this place as a hub that neighbors be attracted and to study the Bible together.

Your support is essential. You can either help us in finance or technology. If you know any good suppliers nearby, that would be great resources too.

USD 4,000 will be the budget for each household

Includes:  Fans, refrigerator, lightings, TV, and computer.
